5 Uses for…Clothes Hangers

Are we having fun yet? This is the fourth week of our “5 Uses For Friday” series. I’d love to hear from you in the comments. Have you learned anything new?

Today, our subject is clothes hangers. Let’s see what they can do for us.

1.) I hang my necklaces on the clothes hangers that have the grooves. One necklace goes over the hook and one on each groove. Each hanger holds three necklaces.

2.) Cut the middle of a wire hanger and bend each side upwards. You can now hang your flip flops!

3.) Wire hangers bent into a circular shape make a great wreath form. The hook makes it easy to hang.

4.) Stake your plants with a wire hanger. Staking your trailing ivy on one can make a beautiful topiary.

5.) Unclog a drain, with a wire hanger. It’s a messy job, but someone’s gotta do it!

And the bonus use for clothes hangers that you will only find on the blog…wrap your Christmas lights on them and hang for storage. No more tangled lights!
